Karen has been an exhibiting artist for 14 years. She is represented in numerous corporate and private collections both nationally and internationally. Her recent abstract paintings draw on themes inspired by nature, emotions, and virtues within us. Using colour, texture, form and rhythm she aims to take the viewer on a journey and explore the deeper levels that connect us all.
Her recent solo exhibitions have explored themes such as: ‘Transformational Moods’- insight often triggered by the spoken word, visual imagery or music which transform the way we see ourselves or others. ‘Journeys’- an exploration of physical and spiritual journeys into unknown or confronting terrain leading to self discovery and growth. ‘Vineworks’- a large and small scale examination of vines and vineyards in Western Australia’s Swan Valley. ‘Aquaessence’- and appreciation of water as an essential energy a life force running through us. arts education 1975 – 1978 Hull Institute of Education U.K. – Cert.
