Born in England, Shirley emigrated to Australia as a child in 1965. She studied for a Diploma of Art and Design and is a qualified draftsperson. Since 1990 Shirley has exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions and won several Art Awards. Shirley prefers to work in pastels, acrylics and gouache and their combination.
